Tuition
The cost of the full, Main WUJS program is $US 5,500. The fee covers housing
in a shared (2-person) studio apartment, Hebrew classes and Jewish/Israel study
courses, tours of the country, seminars, hikes and one main meal per day.
The Arad Arts Project
costs $6,000, which includes the same facilities and provisions at WUJS as detailed
above and additional studio space in Arad. The
Peace and Social Justice track costs $6,500. This cost includes housing and one
meal a day at the WUJS Institute campus in Arad for the first half of the program,
and accommodations and meal arrangements elsewhere in Israel during the internship
period.
Zman Tel Aviv $7,000.
Students arriving as Olim (New immigrants) receive an automatic $1000 scholarship
from WUJS. Other internal WUJS scholarships are available based on financial
need.
Schedule
of Payment: -
$US100 application fee (non-refundable) to be paid upon submission of your application
to WUJS. This fee is not part of the tuition payments.

Upon acceptance to the program first tuition payment of $US 1000.

One month prior to program opening, payment of remainder of tuition.
Cancellation
and Refund Policy: Students
canceling their participation in the program will be entitled to refunds of tuition
payments made to WUJS as follows: -
Cancellation up to 2 months before the program begins FULL refund of any
tuition payment made.

Cancellation up to 1 month before the program begins refund of paid tuition
minus $500.
- Cancellation
within the month before the program begins refund of paid tuition minus
$750.
- Cancellation/departure
or other voluntary withdrawal by student up to one month after the programs
opening -refund of paid tuition minus $1,500.
- Cancellation/departure
after one month into the program, no refund will be given.
Removal
or Dismissal from the Program: Students dismissed or otherwise
involuntarily removed from the WUJS program for disciplinary reasons at any time,
will not be entitled to any refund of tuition.
Expenses Participants in the WUJS program usually incur additional
expenditures as follows: - Textbooks
and Dictionaries: About $35
- Safety
Deposit: 300 NIS.
- Student
Activity Fund 200 NIS.
- Renewal/Extension
of Tourist Visa 150 NIS.
- Travel:
Roundtrip bus fare from Arad to Tel Aviv or Jerusalem is about $20
- For
day-to-day expenses and entertainment: About $200 - $250 per month, according
to your lifestyle.
All costs are quoted in US dollars unless otherwise
noted. Deferment
of Guaranteed Federal Student Loans The Institute is recognized
by the U.S. Department of Education for the deferment of Guaranteed Student Loans,
and has been assigned the School Code Number 021538-00. Requests for loan deferments
will only be handled after the student has arrived at WUJS.
