Now that you have read about WUJS you may be interested in learning how to apply for the program or how to receive further information.

STEP 1: FILLING OUT THE APPLICATION FORM

Option 2: Submit a printed application form (download PDF file)
Print the application form now, fill it in by hand printing clearly and fax or mail it to WUJS. (Click Here)

Option 3: Request Further Information
Request further information about the WUJS Institute (Click Here)
Applications should be submitted to WUJS not later than three weeks prior to the starting date of the session

STEP 2: APPLICATION MATERIALS

In addition to the application questionnaire, which will reach our offices
automatically, the following items are to be mailed to the WUJS office for processing.

  • 4 passport-type photos of yourself
  • An autobiographic essay. Please reference your family background, interests, connection to Jewish life and Israel, and any distinguishing aspects of your academic or professional experience. Please also detail your goals for the program and stay in Israel. We suggest 2-3 printed pages.
  • For US applicants: $US 100 application fee, a check payable to Hamagshimim.
    (For applicants outside of the US, please pay by a Cashier's Check payable to the WUJS Institute. Payment can be in other currency equivalent to $US 100.)
  • Copy of your transcript or academic record.
  • Masa application (if applicable)

Please note: Application deadline is 30 days prior to the session's start date. All material must be received at WUJS by the date of the deadline.

STEP 3: ADDITIONAL MATERIALS FOR SPECIALTY TRACKS:

Applicants to the Arts Program:
Pleased submit samples of your previous work, on slides, CD or printed material, for evaluation. Please include a resume/CV listing any exhibitions, awards and publications of your work.

Applicants to the Peace and Social Justice Track:
Please submit a detailed resume/CV of
your work experience, especially in social justice related fields.

Applicants to the Zman Tel Aviv Track:
Please submit a detailed resume/CV of
your work experience, especially in fields of culture, art, PR, event planning, and other relevant activities.


STEP 4: MAILING IN APPLICATION MATERIALS
