After completing the program, many WUJS students choose to
stay in Israel to seek employment and other opportunities. The process of
finding work and accommodation in Israel requires patience, perseverance
and a sense of humor. To this purpose the WUJS staff is prepared to help
you prepare for the transition to the real Israel. While we
make every effort to find the most suitable framework for every graduating
student, we can make no guarantees regarding employment or admission to
other programs in Israel. We do, however, offer the following services for
our graduating students:
- A day-long
seminar devoted to employment strategies and opportunities in Israel
- Advise
students on career possibilities in Israel.
- Provide
contacts and connections to assist students to set up interviews whenever
possible.
- Distribute
your CV.
- Assist
those that do not seek employment in finding other options, such as
universities, kibbutzim, Army, Ulpan, internships, volunteer programs,
or institutes of religious studies.
- Help in
acquiring licenses for those who require Israeli recognition for professional
qualifications gained abroad.
- Help in
obtaining work permits for tourists (B1-visa).
- Refer
students to the appropriate organizations for accurate information on
any Aliya or employment related subject
